New Project Announcement: Birmingham University Station

Alucraft UK continues its successful involvement at the University of Birmingham campus.

Alucraft has been appointed by Volker Fitzpatrick to design, fabricate and deliver the façade for the new University Station Dale Street. The proposed new University Station will provide flagship facilities to accommodate future rail passenger growth and act as a fitting gateway to the world-class hospitals and University campus.  The expansion of the University of Birmingham, the development of the exemplary University Hospital Birmingham and the continued, exciting regeneration of the surrounding area have all played a part in the impressive passenger growth.

John Foster, Commercial Director at Alucraft said:

“We are delighted to be involved in yet another University of Birmingham development and to support Volker Fitzpatrick on this significant infrastructure need for the UOB. Facade engineering in the public realm on rail side projects is extremely challenging. Our team were able to provide engineering and design support to realise the design concept, incorporating the complex blast and logistical challenges of the project.”
