Alucraft wins Specialist Contractor at the Schüco Excellence Awards 2023

We are proud to have won the award for Specialist Contractor at this year’s Schüco Excellence Awards.

The winning project, Spencer Place, designed by Henry J Lyons Architects for Ronan Group Real Estate, includes a 200-bed hotel, restaurant, retail units, and 46,500m2 of LEED platinum-rated office accommodations in separate blocks over a common 3-storey basement.

Working as part of the team with Main Contractor PJ Hegarty & Sons, we delivered 24,000m2 of architectural glazing on this Grade A workspace for the end user Salesforce, making this building a landmark feature on Dublin’s riverfront. The façade was fabricated using the Schüco UCC 65 SG unitised system along with ground floor areas in the FW60+ system and ADS doors.

The judges praised the leading role that Alucraft Ltd took in successfully delivering this prestigious and complex project. They were especially impressed by the specialist contractor’s resourcefulness and ingenuity in adapting ‘off-the shelf’ façade components to achieve the desired aesthetic and performance requirements.
